10mm diameter High Tensile Chain manufactured name is: Security Grade 70 High Tensile Chain:

• Manufactured to Australian/NZ standard A/NZS 4344:2001.
• Manufactured from heat treated carbon steel.
• The finish is zinc di-chromate, electroplated gold to resist oxidization.
• Cannot be cut with a Bolt Cutter no matter how long the Bolt Cutter is.

This high security 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain is included with both Trailer Protection, security options Enforcer and Supreme.

Although the Stainless Steel Shield is an important part of Trailer Protection it is the supplied Chain that secures the Stainless Steel Shield to the leaf springs or tubular frame (most Caravan chassis) or another part of the chassis if the towable or driveable Vehicle has coil springs and/or piston suspension.

2. Why did we choose to design Trailer Protection using 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain.

Because there is no single Wheel Clamp sold world-wide that fits all diameter and width wheels from the smallest Wheel on a Jet Ski Trailer or Pop Top Caravan up to the largest Wheel on a 4WD Off Road Camper Trailer and all size wheels between without adjusting anything.

• 3 arms that wrap round the width of the Tyre, Klamp It.
• A clamp that goes through the wheel's Rim, Haigh Wheel Clamp.
• A rod that goes against the wheel's Rim, Ark Wheel Clamp.

Surprisingly nothing securing the Wheel Clamp to the vehicle's chassis.

The unique designed Australian made Wheel Clamp...

In 2007 my mission was, to design a Wheel Clamp that not only wraps round the width of the Tyre, it also had to be secured to part of the towable and drivable vehicle's chassis eg. leaf springs or tubular frame (most Caravan chassis) or another part of the chassis if the towable and drivable Vehicle has coil springs and/or piston suspension and that is what I did.

After almost 12 months of designing and testing various methods to secure one Wheel on a towable and drivable Vehicle in our factory in Perth, Western Australia we finally had a design that has an entirely different method of fitting it to a Wheel compared to all other wheel clamps sold world-wide.

We could have used Mild Steel Chain with the Australian made Wheel Clamp, if we did we could have sold it for less but there was no reason to do so when a thief can cut Mild Steel Chain with a 12 inch Bolt Cutter they can buy for a couple of dollars.

If we did include Mild Steel Chain it would have been just another visual deterrent as practically all other brands of wheel clamps are.
